Volunteer at Olympic Hills!

You do not need to be a PTA member or even have a student at the school to volunteer. You do need to register and be approved by the School District to volunteer on campus during school hours.

We have many current volunteer opportunities available and many ways to volunteer. If you plan to volunteer at the school or with students (chaperone, volunteer at an event, etc.) you will need to complete the Volunteer Application Process through Seattle Public Schools (SPS).

Art Docent Class Volunteers

DETAILS:

Hello!

All classes will be taught in the 2nd floor Science room across from the elevator and by the ramp.  
 
Our artist this fall is Fridah Kahlo and we'll be using oil pastels to make self portraits.  Volunteers are needed to help pass out supplies, set up and clean up, and provide encouragement to students.  We need volunteers to show up 15 minutes before the start of class and stay for 15 minutes after the class ends to help clean up.  No art experience needed!  It's a super fun and low commitment way to get involved with the school.  Feel free to pass this info on to other folks to come volunteer with us!

SPS Volunteer Application Process

Volunteer roles where you will be around students or at the school during school hours require that you complete the Seattle Public Schools (SPS) Volunteer Application Process and get verified by Olympic Hills Elementary. Let us know if you have any questions, confusions, or problems with this process (it can be confusing) by using the Volunteer Interest Form below. We are here to help!

Step 1: Complete steps 1 through 3 of the SPS Volunteer Application Process.

Step 2: When you have submitted your background check, email or visit the main office at the school to complete your registration with Olympic Hills Elementary. They will need to verify your ID.
