Dia de Muertos at OHE

The amazing Latino Family Council at OHE is organizing a bunch of activities at the school between October 30th and November 3rd for Dia de Muertos including a tapete de arena (sand carpet) project in collaboration with 5th grade students, decorations for the halls, an offrenda for the school, painting of sugar skulls in classes from pre-k through 4th grade, a special dance performance during the Friday Assembly by Tlalokan Group, and more!

Some of these will be available for viewing at the Family Engagement Night.

Please remind your student to bring a photo of a loved one they would like to remember for the offrenda.
